Jonathan's Lamborghini Huracan Performante

To say the least, Lamborghini's are iconically loud, boisterous, and raw pieces of vehicular machinery. For Jonathan, currently a Lamborghini Huracan LP-610 owner, it was a no-brainer to allocate a spot to purchase Lamborghini's newest untamed bull; the Huracan Performante - a more hardcore version of the already-insane performing LP-610. Jonathan reached out to me for some help designing some tasteful modifications to elevate the looks of his incoming Performante, and to 'one-up' the custom modifications of his current Huracan.

With a simple brief, I started work to transform a factory-fresh Performante into a custom, balanced, & complimentary specification. Unlike the standard Huracan, the Performante's lower door-sills are treated from the factory with green, white, and red 'Tricolore' striping; a tribute to the 150th anniversary of Italian unification. As soon as Jonathan expressed his affinity for that feature, it only made sense to incorporate the same colors within the central striping. After showing many iterations of the center stripe, Jonathan decided on a black stripe with the traditional Y-shaped Tricolore pattern which has been strategically placed on the upper hood, and down each slat of the engine cover, and eventually terminating just under the rear spoiler. It's details like these that are collectively good-looking from a far, and are rewarding to spot up close. To top off this spec, the center wheel locks, brake calipers, and tire lettering were treated in red for great contrast against the white body and to tie more elements into the Tricolore theme.

And yes, the engine IS off center. The mid-mounted engine in all Huracan's is slightly favored to the driver's side of the vehicle for balancing and weight distribution purposes.
